Active Directory management and support in India

Active Directory is the login and policy system for a Windows network. When it is unhealthy, nobody can sign in and nothing applies. The checks that matter are replication, DNS, time sync and backups of system state. RootManage monitors and maintains domain controllers over RDP and fixes problems before users notice.

What our engineers handle on Active Directory

This is the hands-on work, done by a person: the jobs the automatic tools cannot do for you.

  1. 1Check replication health and DNS on every domain controller
  2. 2Patch domain controllers one at a time and verify afterwards
  3. 3Review group policies and the accounts that are stale or privileged
  4. 4Back up system state and test recovering a domain controller

Problems we fix

Problem

Users cannot sign in or policies do not apply

What we do

We check domain controller reachability, DNS and time, and repair the failing component.

Problem

Replication errors between controllers

What we do

We read the replication status, fix the network, DNS or lingering objects and confirm they sync.

Problem

An old domain controller still appears in the domain

What we do

We remove it properly, clean up its metadata and DNS records.

Automatic tools, and our team for the rest

RootManage is automatic server management with every tool in one place. The tools run by themselves on a schedule and report to one dashboard. Everything they cannot do, and every emergency, is handled by our engineers by hand.

Manual, by our engineers

Everything else, and every emergency

  • Hands-on work. Fixes, tuning, migrations, upgrades and the other jobs listed above on this page.
  • Emergency work. A hacked site, an outage or a failed update is handled by a person who investigates and fixes it, not by a script.
  • Things we do not automate. Anything the tools do not cover is done by hand, over SSH, WHM or RDP, on a login you can remove at any time.

The tools are optional, run on Linux servers and are installed by you with one command each. Every job our team does is recorded as a task in your dashboard with the details, and you get an email when it is updated.

How it works

  1. 1

Create an account, choose a plan and add the server you want managed.

  2. 2

    Give access

We connect over RDP or SSH on a login you create, and you can remove it whenever you like.

  3. 3

    Automatic, with people behind it

An engineer checks the server on the schedule we agree and does the hands-on work. You follow every task in your dashboard.

Questions about Active Directory

Do you migrate to Entra ID or Microsoft 365?

We can help with the server side of a move to the cloud. Cloud tenant administration is outside what we offer.

How many domain controllers should we have?

At least two for any business that needs to sign in during a failure. We review your setup and recommend.

What does it cost to have Active Directory managed?

Managed plans start at ₹1,999 a month for one server, and Active Directory is managed as part of the server. The pricing page lists what each plan includes. If a server is already infected, the emergency cleanup is a one-time ₹9,000 job.
