RootManage Metrics

A third Linux agent. It only samples resource charts. It does not replace Server Health (findings, score) or Backup (02:00 IST dumps).

What it does

  • Every 5 minutes: CPU %, RAM %, disk /, load 1m, network in/out.
  • Low CPU: nice 19, 8% CPU quota, idle I/O, 64 MB memory cap, 45s random delay.
  • Portal keeps 24 hours of samples (288 points).
  • See charts in Dashboard → Metrics after the first sample.

Install (this agent only)

Sign in → Metrics → Show metrics install line. Then pick OS.

Easy install

1. Pick one agent

Four separate programs. Installing one does not replace another. Sign in with an Active plan to see your live key, or copy it from the dashboard.

2. Pick your OS / panel

Only one OS at a time. Commands below are for Metrics only.

After install: /usr/bin/rootmanage-metrics --once then wait for the next 5-minute tick.
