Client how-to

How to use all six agents

Clients mix scripts because every agent looks similar. Rule: one left-menu item = one install script = one output. Follow the screenshots in order. Server must be Active. Linux only (Windows = ticket).

0. Before you start

  1. Sign in at rootmanage.com → Dashboard.
  2. Plan status Active (Billing). Pending / suspended = no live key.
  3. Open SSH or WHM Terminal as root on that VPS.
  4. Install only the agent whose menu you have open. Do not paste Health into Backup.

2. Server Health — watching, not DDoS

Steps: open Server Health → pick the server on the left → pick OS → Copy install line → paste as root → wait ~1 minute → numbers turn green.

3. Metrics — charts every 5 minutes

Different script: install-metrics.sh. Does not replace Health. Wait up to 5 minutes for the first chart.

4. LiteHouse — findings at 04:00 IST

Script: install-litehouse.sh. Install does not start a scan. Wait for 04:00 IST or tap LiteHouse now (about 5 minutes).

5. Backup — 02:00 IST, then restore here

Script: install-backup.sh. Starter: save SFTP/S3 first. Pro / Enterprise: storage included. Restore one site or many is on this same page after a successful run.

6. Guard — traffic, block, unblock

Script: install-guard.sh. Host flood control on this VPS — not an internet DDoS scrubber. Block/Unblock waits about one minute.

7. Uninstall — only that agent

Each dashboard install card has step 3 Uninstall. Same lines on /agent. cPanel: drop sudo.

Suggested order

  1. Health first (so you see the server is online).
  2. Metrics (charts).
  3. Backup (before you need a restore).
  4. Guard (traffic + block).
  5. Site Clean (sites, 03:00 IST).
  6. LiteHouse last (daily assessment).
