Server management, INR billing, and how RootManage works.
RootManage is an India-based 24/7 managed server support company. We patch, secure, and recover Linux and Windows servers. Live CPU/disk in the panel needs a small agent on Linux. Billing is in INR via Razorpay. Guard reduces floods on that VPS; it is not an internet DDoS scrubber.
After you install our Linux agent (four steps in Server Health on rootmanage.com), we show load, disk, login guessing, and daily scan fixes. The panel shows RootManage, your domain, and service expiry. Watching, not a DDoS shield.
No product can list every CVE ever published for every app. RootManage watches your Linux OS package list (Ubuntu/Alma security updates waiting, plus reboot needed). That covers old and new issues the vendor already packaged. It does not scan WordPress plugins, custom PHP, or Docker images. Those need a ticket and a separate audit.
Only when a server is Active. Suspended or pending servers stay locked. New Razorpay payments set Active automatically. Admin can also set Active under Clients.
A separate Linux agent that runs at 02:00 IST: dump MySQL/Postgres first, then encrypted file backup (low CPU). Starter: you add your own SFTP or S3 box. Pro includes 50 GB and Enterprise 100 GB on our storage box. Pick cPanel, Plesk, Ubuntu, Debian, Alma, Rocky, CloudLinux, RHEL, or Windows on /agent/backup for install, run, and restore (one site or many).
A third Linux agent, separate from Server Health and Backup. Every 5 minutes it records CPU, RAM, disk, load, and network for charts in Dashboard → Metrics. Low CPU (nice 19, 8% cap). Install from /agent/metrics.
A fourth Linux agent, separate from Health, Backup, and Metrics. Daily 04:00 IST (nice 19, 5% CPU cap, idle disk). Dashboard → LiteHouse shows overview, findings, agent graph, steering, history, and email reports. Install from /agent/litehouse. It does not replace the other agents.
A fifth Linux agent. Every minute it samples traffic, applies host rate limits, and lets you block or unblock IPs in Dashboard → Guard. It cannot stop a flood that fills the hosting pipe. Install from /agent/guard. Uninstall: uninstall-guard.sh.
A sixth Linux agent. Daily 03:00 IST (nice 19, 5% CPU). It scans all sites on the VPS for phishing, spam, abuse, and webshells. Dashboard → Site Clean lists each file. You can quarantine, delete, ignore, or suspend the cPanel account. Install from /agent/clean. Uninstall: uninstall-clean.sh.
Each agent has its own uninstall line (uninstall-health.sh, uninstall-backup.sh, uninstall-metrics.sh, uninstall-litehouse.sh, uninstall-guard.sh, uninstall-clean.sh). Paste as root. That agent is removed; the others stay. To remove every RootManage agent: curl -fsSL https://rootmanage.com/agent/uninstall.sh | sudo bash -s -- --agent all
