What our engineers handle on IIS and ASP.NET
This is the hands-on work, done by a person: the jobs the automatic tools cannot do for you.
- 1Configure sites, bindings, application pools and their identities
- 2Install and update .NET runtimes and hosting bundles that applications need
- 3Manage certificates, redirects and request filtering
- 4Read IIS and event logs, and set up recycling, limits and monitoring
Problems we fix
Problem
An application pool stops again and again
What we do
We read the event log, fix the identity, permissions or crashing code path, and set pool recycling and rapid-fail limits sensibly.
Problem
HTTP Error 500.19 or 502.5 after a deploy
What we do
We check web.config and the .NET hosting bundle, install the right runtime and correct the configuration.
Problem
A certificate expired on the site
What we do
We install the renewed certificate on the binding and set up reminders or automatic renewal where possible.
Automatic tools, and our team for the rest
RootManage is automatic server management with every tool in one place. The tools run by themselves on a schedule and report to one dashboard. Everything they cannot do, and every emergency, is handled by our engineers by hand.
Automatic
Checked on a schedule we agree
Manual, by our engineers
Everything else, and every emergency
- Hands-on work. Fixes, tuning, migrations, upgrades and the other jobs listed above on this page.
- Emergency work. A hacked site, an outage or a failed update is handled by a person who investigates and fixes it, not by a script.
- Things we do not automate. Anything the tools do not cover is done by hand, over SSH, WHM or RDP, on a login you can remove at any time.
The tools are optional, run on Linux servers and are installed by you with one command each. Every job our team does is recorded as a task in your dashboard with the details, and you get an email when it is updated.
How it works
- 1
Sign up
Create an account, choose a plan and add the server you want managed.
- 2
Give access
We connect over RDP or SSH on a login you create, and you can remove it whenever you like.
- 3
Automatic, with people behind it
An engineer checks the server on the schedule we agree and does the hands-on work. You follow every task in your dashboard.
Questions about IIS and ASP.NET
Do you manage SQL Server too?
We keep the Windows server healthy and can help with basic SQL Server maintenance and backups. Deep database administration is a separate speciality and we tell you if something is beyond our scope.
Can you move an old ASP.NET app to a new server?
Yes. We install the same runtime versions, copy the site and configuration, test and then change DNS.
What does it cost to have IIS and ASP.NET managed?
Managed plans start at ₹1,999 a month for one server, and IIS and ASP.NET is managed as part of the server. The pricing page lists what each plan includes. If a server is already infected, the emergency cleanup is a one-time ₹9,000 job.
